Rubber Soul is a Beatles tribute band unlike any other in the Dallas metroplex. They play astonishing recreations of the Fab Four including "I Wanna Hold Your Hand", all of the psychedelia including "Strawberry Fields", the medley from Abbey Road and the latest from the Beatles Anthology, "Free as a Bird". They do this by being as faithful as possible to the sounds the Beatles made with their voices and instruments. Their lead singers, Tom (2nd from the left) and Pete (far right), play the roles of John Lennon and Paul McCartney, while Tom's brother, Brett (2nd from right), and Tim (far left) hold down the roles of Ringo Starr and George Harrison.

To create the Rubber Soul sound, they spend many hours listening to Beatle recordings, imitating the Liverpool accent and the vocal blend that the Beatles are famous for. They also use the same instruments and amplifiers that the Beatles used including the Hofner "Beatle" bass, the Rickenbacker 12-string and the still popular thirty years later, Vox AC30 amplifier. All of these tools, as well as their obvious love and respect for the original creations of the Beatles has helped them to become the best Beatles cover act in the area.

If you come to see Rubber Soul, don't expect to see four mop-topped lads in collarless jackets. Rubber Soul doesn't put on costumes or makeup. Instead, they focus on the music. So what you'll see is four guys having a huge amount of fun while playing some of the best music ever written. And you know what, they sound a LOT like those laddies from Liverpool.
